Special Edition Fall EEW’s
Three brand new special limited edition EEW’s will be offered this fall at Camp Maha’s Earth Education Center. These programs will only be offered on selected dates so call now to make sure you get in on the fun. EEW’s make great add-ons to troop camping trips!
Bird Migrations, “That’s a Lot of Birds”
Experience the wonder of bird migration at Camp Maha. See thousands of birds including ducks, geese, herons and maybe even an eagle. A spotting scope, binoculars and a blind will be available to get you up close and personal with our feathery friends. Participants must wear shoes appropriate for walking; no flip-flops or sandals. Open to all Girl Scouts Daisy through Senior.
Deep Space Cadet, “10,000,000 Light Years is a Long Way”
Learn about Earth, the planets and stars at Camp Maha. Look at planets, stars and deep space objects using binoculars and a telescope. Learn to recognize bright stars, constellations and planets in the night sky. This program will be outdoors at night, so participants should dress accordingly. Games, crafts and other activities will be provided if the sky is cloudy. Open to all Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors.
Fall Colors Hike
Take a guided hike at Camp Maha to enjoy the autumn colors. Learn about trees and the seasons. Make crafts with leaves and fall color paintings. Open to all Girl Scouts, Daisies through Senior.

Let’s Meet Maha!
So you’ve never been to camp before? This a perfect fit for Daisy troops who are coming to Maha for the first time. Spend two hours learning about all the fun and adventure that Maha has to offer. Go on a hike, play games, create art and soon you will have a new place to call “home.”
NEW! Meet a Tree
Come to Maha and learn all about trees and how important they are to the world. Spend two hours ‘dressing a tree’, making tree rubbings and getting up close and personal with a tree – one of our most vital nature friends.
NEW! Hidden Workers in the Woods
Beneath the leaves and under the logs are the hidden workers in the woods. Spend two hours searching for the tiny workers we have at Camp Maha. They are so important to the earth and making soil for the plants. Come join us as we look for the insects, critters and plants who work tirelessly in the woods.

Ready, Set, Go Camping Try-It

Watching Wildlife Try-It
All of them are furry. Some have tails. Some eat fruit or bugs. Some even fly. What are they? You guessed it...mammals. What makes them unique? Search for their homes, play a game of Bat and Moth and learn all about mammals with hands-on fun.
Earth Is Our Home Try-It
Save! Sort! Recycle! Learn how you can make a difference by starting with your own lunch, run the recycle relay, and become a waste watcher.
